Anti-Scamming & Fraud Prevention Policy

Audio in Color is committed to protecting our applicants, grant recipients, donors, and community from fraud and impersonation. Official communication regarding grant applications, award notifications, or funding disbursement will only come from verified Audio in Color email addresses and will never request payment, processing fees, banking passwords, gift cards, or wire transfers in order to “release,” “process,” or “unlock” a grant.

All donations to Audio in Color should be made exclusively through our official website audioincolor.org or our verified GoFundMe campaign.

Audio in Color will never seek donations through unsolicited phone calls, text messages, direct messages on social media, or third-party payment links. If you receive a communication claiming to be from Audio in Color that asks for personal identifying information, upfront fees, or urgent/pressured payment, please do not respond or provide any information. Instead, verify its legitimacy by contacting us directly at audioincolor@gmail.com.

We encourage anyone who suspects they have been targeted by a scam impersonating our organization to report it to us immediately and to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
